Anti-Bullying Gold Award

The New Bridge Academy has been successful in gaining the Gold Award for anti- Bullying. This is due to the hard work by all staff and especially the enthusiasm and co-operation from all students. Dorothy Maddison, who is the anti Bullying Lead for Sunderland, was very impressed by what we have achieved in a short time and mentioned that with a bit more work and parent participation we could achieve the Platinum Award before the end of this academic year.

With that, we propose to run an after school session for parents on the dangers of cyber bullying so that we can spread the word about keeping us all safe. If you are interested please contact Dave Foley, anti bullying co-ordinator, on (0191) 553 5335.
